Yarning Crescent is excited to showcase our unique approach to healing through art therapy at this year’s Care Expo Sydney.
Join us for two full days of hands-on, interactive art therapy demonstrations. Our sessions will guide participants in creating their own pieces while exploring how art can enhance emotional well-being, resilience, and cultural connection.
At our site, visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Engage in live art therapy sessions designed to promote mindfulness and self-expression.
- Learn about the therapeutic benefits of creativity for mental health and well-being.
- Connect with our experienced team to understand how Yarning Crescent can support individuals, carers, and communities through tailored art therapy services.

- 9:30am Process art (Adults) with Sarah from Solace Creative Therapies.
- 11:00am Explore Bilateral Drawing (Adults) with Sarah From Solace Creative Therapies.
- 12:30pm Have fun with Painting (children) with Stella from Ripples Art Therapy.
- 2:00pm Creative Affirmation Cards using water colours (Adolescents to Adults) with Michelle from Artful Healing.
Saturday 16 November
- 9:30am Explore Bilateral Drawing (Adults) with Sarah From Solace Creative Therapies.
- 11:00am Discover the art of Self care (Adults) with Eriko from M.A.D. Therapy
- 12:30pm Have fun with Painting (children) with Stella from Ripples Art Therapy
- 2:00pm Create a Mandala using stencils (Children to adolescents) with Michelle from Artful Healing.
